Erika Rodriguez

Mrs. Rodriguez
Hello everyone!!
My name is Erika Rodriguez and I will be teaching Third Grade Dual in Spanish  at Tippin Elementary School.  In addition this is my third year in this awesome Campus. I am thrilled to continue to be part of the staff this school year and being your child’s teacher.  Furthermore I was born and raised in Puerto Rico.   I graduated from University of Puerto Rico in 2006.  I also taught there for two years.  Then I moved to the States in 2009 to pursue an education degree.  Successfully completed the Alternative Certification Teaching Program in Dallas, Texas, where I taught for four years. I also have a Master’s Degree in Education/Spanish from the University of Granada, Spain.  All of these experiences have enriched my professional career enabling me with tools, knowledge and strategies that will help students achieve academic success.  I enjoy teaching and have a passion in this field.  Teaching is such a rewarding career and the satisfaction of knowing that I can be a part of student’s achieving success in the present and future fills my heart tremendously.
I want to be a light in kids lives.

Let's have a great year!!
