Welcome to 5A!
Welcome to my class. My name is Kimberly Villanueva and I am very
excited to start off the new year with all of these fantastic students.
Let me give you a little background about me. I have lived in El Paso
since I as thirteen years old, so I consider this my home. My husband and I
have been married for 18 years and have two children. Makenna is
beginning her junior year at Franklin High School and Ryan is in 5th grade.
I have a Bachelors Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies my 14th year teaching in EPISD, although prior to with a focus in Social Studies from the University of Texas at El
Prior to teaching I was an Interpreter for 8 years here in EPISD as
well. I am starting my 11th year here at Tippin. In the past, I have taught both 1st, 2nd, and 4th grade. Additionally, this year I will be co-teaching with Mrs. Valenzuela-Garcia. She will be taking on Language Arts and Social Studies and I will be teaching Math and Science. My teaching philosophy is simple! I believe students learn best when they are in an environment that they enjoy, so I try to create that by engaging the students in activities and discussions that are fun and educational!
My conference time is Monday-Friday from 10:30-11:15. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
